Kelly + Dan / The Hall of Fauntleroy
When I first met Kelly, I knew we were both "get stuff done" individuals. We met for coffee at a Panera Bread on a rainy day, chatted about how far along she was in the planning process, what vendors she needed to book and more. And since that night, I don't think we stopped planning over countless emails and text messages! There was also a few minutes of us discussing her hashtag (last name: Fox... how could we not discuss?!)
Kelly had a very A-Type and organized personality and the second she said that text messages were her preferred way of communication, I knew our productivity level would reach a high 10. And we wanted the BEST pricing for everything. The second I saw she was over-paying for something, I had to cut that out real quick. But seriously, I was excited to help plan and coordinate this wedding (especially because it was also at one of my favorite venues, The Hall at Fauntleroy in West Seattle!)
(PS. Kelly - you are ultimate #BrideGoals. I knew the second you booked me that it was ME who was blessed to have such an organized and awesome bride.)
Fast forward to the wedding day, it was amazing to see all of our (well, mostly Kelly's) hard work come to life!
Kelly and her gal's started with getting all glammed up by the talented crew at Salon Maison, who, of course, do nothing but make all ladies look gorgeous on their wedding day.
Spray that setting spray, girl, spray it! (But really, her make-up lasted her all day!!!)
Aren't they stunning? Kelly and her bridesmaids slayed!
Total princess vibes going on right now - Kelly looked like a fairy tale dream come true.
On the way to the ceremony to meet Dan!
Meet Dan - he's funny, laid-back and well, super perfect for Kelly. When I arrived at the venue, I had a box of flowers in my hands and introduced myself as the wedding planner! Dan looked at me and said "Hi, I'm Dan, I'm getting married". LOL - at this point, I've only been planning and meeting with Kelly, but the second I met Dan, I could tell he was just really, really excited to get married.
Dan also had a kick-ass #groomsquad. Don't they look goooooooooooooood?! Of course they did - they were styled by the famous Justin Songo of Mens Wearhouse in Downtown Seattle.
Is it just me or was Dan thinking "daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn" when he saw Kelly during their first look?
But what's better than a Bride & Groom First Look?
Kelly's first look with her Dad - so emotional, but so beautiful. Samantha McClearry Photography, you slayed these first look moments for Kelly.
If I could pick a bridal party of the year, this group def totally takes the cake.
Now, let's talk about the details. Shout-out to Kelly for picking out everything that she wanted (a wedding planner's dream), placing them in boxes for me and labeling each bin according to area of the venue. I died of happiness for this amazing day-of-coordination bride.
A yummy, two-tier cake was placed at the front of the room, baked by one of our go-to pastry chefs, Jessica Brockway of BB Nest Bakery. Seriously, if you want a perfect, small batching cutting cake, Jess is yo' girl. Well, in this case, she was Kelly and Dan's for the day.
Peep the floral throughout the whole wedding, arranged by the one and only Melanie Benson Floral.
After the "I Do"s, it was paaaaaaaarty time!
After a few toasts, Kelly and Dan did their first dance. AND I FREAKED OUT AT FIRST because the DJ, Travis, told me that he was going to play their vows from the ceremony during their first dance. Immediately I thought "WWKL" (What Would Kelly Like?). And 2.5 seconds later, I realized that hey... they might love it. Travis of Cue it Up Entertainment, you're awesome.
(He also got the party going at the end of the night by bringing in two Hip Hop/Club DJs - I felt like I was at a club in Downtown Seattle with the tracks they were playing! Well done!)
TnT coming in clutch with the desserts! We had the dessert table scheduled to be assembled and popped up at a PARTICULAR time during the wedding (versus up when the guests walk into the reception for the first time) - and TnT made it happen!
Theme-fitting props by our fav-go-to booth, Alex at Fotographia.
Literally. Wedding day goals. Right. Here.
Congratulations Kelly and Dan! #ForeverFox
